What is an OEM Cartridge?
Many dealers and stores will often refer to some ink cartridges or toner cartridges as the OEM brand. What does OEM mean?
O.E.M. stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Original Equipment Manufacturer is the company that manufactures the printer that the cartridge goes into. For example if you have a HP printer the OEM cartridge would be the HP brand cartridge. Sometimes people will also refer to the OEM brand as the original or named brand.
Printer Ink Express sells generic printer cartridges. We can get the OEM cartridges but currently do not stock them or have them on the website. Our prices are generally better than the big box stores and we deliver right to your door for our low cost $10 shipping fee. The thing to understand is that the manufacturers really control the price of their cartridges. This means that retailers and dealers of ink and toner cartridges do not have much room to negotiate on OEM pricing. Our price quoted to you really is our bottom price.
Some of the OEM brand consumables that we support are:
Brother -Ink, Toner
Canon - Ink, Toner, Photo Copier
Epson - Ink, Toner
HP - Ink, Toner
Lexmark - Ink, Toner
Samsung - Toner
